One Two Three

There’s nothing better than heading out the door, camera in hand to spend a few minutes, hours or the day taking photographs. It’s always my happy place and the thing that frees my mind of all the crazy, allowing me to remember what really matters.

While I very much enjoy curating the works of others, there’s something to be said for having a wee peak into another photographer’s brain. I’m fascinated by how others see the world and how they express their artistic joy.

I’m kicking off what I hope will be a staple here at Champalicious. “One Two Three” is a wee riff on 5 Questions from my days posting to FlickrBlog. It’s a simple idea:

One camera
Two photographs
Three words*

I’ve sent email to a number of photographers to participate and I’ll be asking more. Derek Powazek, the love of my life and partner in crime will be first up followed by the extraordinarily talented Jessica Hibbard Elenstar.
